How to structure your work experience on your CV & LinkedIn

Tip for job seekers: your work experience on your LinkedIn & CV SHOULD NOT look like the job description of the role – you can do much better than that!

What will make you really stand out among other candidates (in front of recruiters & hiring managers) is your measurable achievements for each of the jobs you had.


Under each position summarize your most important achievements in a few bullet points.

Make sure you always:

– Start with a powerful verb and end with a measurable outcome 

– Answer questions like: How did you do what you did? Where? Why? What impact did it have? What was the result? Compared to what?

– Give context, so even people not familiar with your field can understand
