There are a lot of misconceptions about what an ATS is and what it does (and a lot of people capitalizing on it) which makes your job-search & applications confusing.
- From my experience as a recruiter, I never used an ATS that automatically sorts & rejects CVs – we had to go do it ourselves.
- There was never an ideal “ATS friendly” CV template either, as long as you’re relevant for the job and don’t use funky graphics, tables, or weird formatting, you’re good.
